Airline Ambassadors in the News
The Only Independent Relief and Development Organization Within the Airline Industry
In the wake of the devasatation in Haiti CMEX and NoasArc are holding a Haitian Carnival or “Kanaval” to raise funds for Airline Ambassador's relief work in Haiti.
Carnival is an important event in Haiti's national cultural calendar, when revelers release their inhibitions with music, food and dance.
The event is aimed at raising further awareness of the ongoing massive humanitarian crisis in Haiti by unveiling a spectacle of this magnificent and culturally rich Caribbean nation, allowing people to take part in the reconstruction of the country and develop plans to create sustainable livelihoods in construction, transportation, power generation, education, communication, etc.
Toronto’s creative musical genius will be present as well as internationally acclaimed performers, musicians and artists.
There will be a silent auction of art, vacations and other goodies.
Vendors and Exhibitors will help us all learn, appreciate and celebrate Haitian and Caribbean culture. There will also be material available about Haitian culture, tradition, art and music, and a number of door prizes for guests.
Inspiration will be provided by world renowned humanitarian and development expert Lelei LeLaulu, formerly of the United Nations, who will share his profound knowledge of sustainable development and sustainable living and what everyone can do to make a difference.
