The Only Independent Relief and Development Organization Within the Airline Industry

Mission

Airline Ambassadors International provides humanitarian relief and development to underprivileged communities by opening up opportunities for travelers to become a living link between resource and need.

History

Airline Ambassadors International began in 1992 as a network of airline employees using their travel privileges to assist others. Since its inception the orgnanization has helped restart the lives of more than 500,000 children in 52 countries.

AAI's projects are as diverse as its membership, but they all share a common purpose: to empower individuals to engage in the global effort to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, as well as capacity building in underpriviledged communities worldwide.

Vision

By establishing a venue for ordinary people to give extraordinary service, Airline Ambassadors demonstrates that continued friendships between its volunteers and aid recipients is key to fostering sustainable projects. This enhances the benefits of the aid that the organization provides.

As the only independent humanitarian organization emanating from the airline industry, Airline Ambassadors leverages industry resources and professional expertise for its members to provide opportunities for ordinary people to be of extraordinary service to one another, offering an outlet for volunteers to express their fundamental generosity, selflessness and compassion.
