Development Partnerships

AIRLINE AMBASSADORS works with local government, business and NGO partners at each of our adopted projects to help build capacity in local communities. In 2009 AAI received donations of aircraft to transport humanitarian assistance from American Airlines, JetBlue, the U.S. military and the Colombian National Police.

Also in 2009 our work carried us to El Salvador where we partnered to build 150 homes, as well as providing wells for families in Cambodia. We also worked with the village chiefs of a Zulu village in South Africa to refurbish the local crêche and support the community primary school.

In 2009 AAI also partnered with local universities and technical schools in Ecuador and El Salvador to build technical capacity in the CASA program.
